Connecting Faiths - Building Communities conference

27 November saw the first half day conference put on by LB Newham in order to foster relationships with people from the many faith groups.

It may become the opening move towards what Stephen Timms MP calls a covenant between faith groups and the council and various places round the country are exploring what that might mean. Mr Timms chairs the All Party Parliamentary group on Faith and Society and the draft agreement they suggest is here.
