NB. This grant is not available for a single congregation's own activities.
The fund is newly set up to help Christians in Newham who are not employed in paid church work to fulfil their God-given vision. This could take the form of just an informal group or a full-blown charity: either way it needs to serve local people in some practical way.

Priority is given to those groups which seek to go into new areas of activity not covered by Christian endeavour at the moment. We particularly are looking for the delivery team to be drawn from more than one congregation and ideally more than one denomination.

Our initial pot is of £50,000. This means that we will welcome applications from different sized groups and will offer one-off grants from £200 up to £5,000 for a wide variety of items, for example computer equipment or hidden costs like room hire.

Please note: this fund is not available for a single congregation’s internal or outreach activities. We are also less likely to fund single events.
