Vision

Soul in the City (SITC) is more than a week of mission, it aims to go far deeper than that! SITC is designed to equip young people and help them understand the issues in their own community; and to empower them to positively impact those issues. SITC benefits the young people that take part the local community as well as Church!

Newham

The Soul in The City Newham team members are Richard & Lia Katz of Energy Church, Vikki Neal of Latimer Christian Fellowship, Elizabeth Booker of River Church,  Sam Neal of Latimer Christian Fellowship, Sangeetha Thevathasan of Energy Church, David Sriyoheswaran of Energy Church, Ami Rowe of River Church and Jacqui John from Transform Newham.

Our vision focuses on helping the vulnerable in our community. Our mission is to set up weekend and week missions that challenges young people and which are also fun. In those missions the young people will be able to take part in different projects in their community as well sports events and there will also be an opportunity to involve the adults and wider Church. We are also aiming to create links amongst churches in our borough.
